Rangers wary of Falkirk
Glasgow Rangers will not be taking anything for granted when they take on Falkirk in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park on Saturday.
Rangers are on the verge of securing a double for the season after stealing the Scottish Premiership from arch-rivals Celtic last weekend, and are the overwhelming favourites to defeat a club that narrowly avoided relegation last week.
However, Rangers assistant coach Ally McCoist, who coached the club to the Scottish Cup title in 2008, says that Falkirk will come into the match full of confidence after a crucial, morale boosting win over Inverness last weekend.
“There are maybe a few teams I’d like to be playing rather than Falkirk,” McCoist told the BBC.
“On their day, they pass the ball as well as anyone and they will be flying after the weekend they’ve had. I look on them as being a really dangerous animal and we will have to be very well guarded and at the top of our game to win at Hampden.”
“Falkirk will really come out and have a go; I don’t have any doubt about that.”
